Police have arrested a man concerning the spate of graffiti made on buildings in Melksham in August.
Grade-II listed pillars in Place Road were among those with tags left on them which police believed had links to Mákina, a genre of hardcore techno music originating in Spain.
Lloyds Bank, McDonald’s and Co-op Travel and Tops Hair Salon in High Street were also marked.
A 26-year-old man from Brighton will appear in court later this month Community beat manager Kane Fulbrook-Smith said: “This is a prime example of how the local NPT and the community worked together to detect crime. It is a great feeling when the hard work comes together with little to go on from the outset.”
