EMERGENCY services were called to a two-car collision on the A350 in Melksham just after 5pm on Tuesday which closed the road for an hour.
A yellow Peugeot 106 collided with a red Renault Twingo, leaving the driver trapped in the Peugeot.
The A350 Western Way was closed between the Berryfield roundabout and the Asda roundabout while a fire crew freed him. He suffered minor injuries, and was taken to hospital.
