LONGFORD Road, Melksham, is set to dazzle the town with Christmas lights once again after a two year break.
Kim Daley and Alex Goodhind are organising the lights and hope it will be their biggest and best.
They attracted publicity from around the world last time. The pair decided just a few weeks ago to organise the event again and hope it will be finished later this month.
Mr Daley says they want to make it even more impressive than before and include a snow machine and the occasional visit from Santa and his elves.
Paul Weymouth and volunteers have also been working hard preparing this year’s light switch-on at the Town Hall scheduled for December 6 at 5pm.
Thousands of pounds has been raised towards the lights, including nearly £3,000 from a firework display at Forest Community Centre last week.
Mr Weymouth said: “It is the only town locally I know that is done by volunteers and it is a massively well supported.”
