Sainsbury's, Melksham
One man jumped into the River Avon when security staff in Sainsbury’s, Melksham, foiled three men who were attempting to remove a trolley full of alcohol from the store.
The men fled, one jumping into the River Avon and swimming upstream towards the Adventure Centre on the afternoon of Wednesday, November 5.
One man was arrested after the incident and was later released from custody.
