Great Chalfield Manor in Melksham will stage a food festival with nearly 40 stalls selling goods from Christmas puds to dried meat.

There will also be stalls outside, where visitors can drink mulled wine and eat hot food prepared by the Fox from Broughton Gifford and others.

People will be invited to look inside the manor and enjoy the festive decorations, with the floor-to-ceiling Christmas tree, an open log fire and a choir of 24 singing carols.

The festival runs from 10.30am to 3.30pm on December 13.

Admission is free for children and £3 for adults.

There will be a free minibus service operating from Holt and Broughton Gifford.
