A MAN who is accused of sexually abusing a child in the mid 1990s has been released on bail by a judge.
Derek Buckwell is said to have molested the youngster on a number of occasions between 1994 and 1997.
No charges were formally put to Buckwell, 56, of Coronation Road, Melksham, and he did not enter any pleas during the brief hearing at Swindon Crown Court.
Judge Tim Mousley QC adjourned the case to Friday, February 6, and released him on bail until then.
