Staff from Somerset Care’s Community Services team in Melksham are celebrating following their 2014 awards afternoon.

The event was held at Melksham town hall on November12 when 29 members of staff were honoured for their achievements.

They were: best new starter, Georgia Laurence; best office staff member, Kerry A’court; student of the year, Racheal Collins.; operations manager’s choice award, Elaine Markey; support and care worker of the year (winner of the Mike Rustell memorial trophy), Marah Knight; going the distance awards for planning, Sarah Chun, Kezia Potter, Kelly Vines, Sandy Pepler, Karen Oakley and Lisa Hunt; going the distance awards for support and care, Beth Gray, Gemma Peel, Helen McColgan, John Law, Kelly Burns, Laura Johnson, Nicola Wood, Sam Williamson and Vanessa Stephens; certificates for QCF qualifications, Chris Denmark, Racheal Collins, Tracey Glover, Hayley Martin, Gemma Hanna, Tom Foord, Jacqueline Pollock and Thea Wright.
