Arrest after festive row
A 21-YEAR-OLD man was arrested and released on bail on suspicion of assaulting a 52-year-old man in Union Street, Melksham, at 3am on Christmas Day.
Police were called to reports of the man causing a disturbance in the street and banging on residents’ doors.
He then allegedly punched a resident who approached him, causing minor injuries.
