A man who is accused of having sex with a 14-year-old girl in Melksham is to face trial by judge and jury.
Alex Gaines pleaded not guilty to a charge of sexual activity with a child when he appeared at Swindon Crown Court.
Gaines, 21, who gave the court an address in Southampton, is alleged to have had sex with the teenager in the last two weeks of August 2013.
Judge Tim Mousley QC adjourned the case to Monday, March 13, and released Gaines on bail on conditional bail until then.
