Tickets are now available for this year’s Melksham Music and Drama panto Trouble in Pantoland.

The show follows a mixture of favourite fairytale characters as they find themselves endangered by the evil wizard ‘He Whose Name No One Can Remember’, and his plan to take over all of Pantoland.

In a bid to become king he has turned all the princes into statues, but a brave frog waiting to be kissed might save the day and reunite the princes with their princesses for a happy ending.

Some of the characters include Widow Twanky, Snow White, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty.

Donna Ruderman from the group said: “It’s a great family show, lots of fun and singing and dancing, it’s very colourful. It’s got goodies and baddies; all the things a panto should have. We enjoy what we do, so we have put all our enjoyment into it.”

The panto will take place at the Rachel Fowler Centre, Chapel Court, on February 19-21 and 27-28.

Doors open from 7pm and at 2pm for the matinee performances on Saturdays.

Tickets cost £5 for concessions and £7.50 for adults and are available from Melksham Tourist Information Centre or MMAD.org.uk.
