Single file on Melksham's River Avon Bridge
Drivers can expect delays in Melksham for 12 weeks as it will be single-file traffic only over the River Avon bridge on the main road into the town from the end of the month.
Wiltshire Council is repairing and refurbishing the 1920s concrete footpath on the upstream side. While they carry out the work there will be traffic lights and the footpath will be temporarily closed.
