Melksham residents are calling for better healthcare, public transport and education facilities in the area rather than new houses, according to an online survey.
The results also revealed 75 per cent of voters want to see the restoration of the minor injuries unit and treatment facilities at Melksham Hospital prioritised.
More than 60 per cent think the Melksham Campus needs to be finished as soon as possible and 58 per cent want employment opportunities addressed.
The survey was carried out by the Melksham Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group, which wants feedback ahead of creating a Neighbourhood Plan.
The steering group has identified five areas it will focus on, including housing, employment and transport.
The group has organised a public meeting on March 27, 2-7pm and March 28, 9.30am-2.30pm at the Assembly Hall.
