Crash causes rush hour gridlock

THE main road between Melksham and Trowbridge was gridlocked this morning following a road accident.
Hundreds of motorists were caught up in rush hour jams after the crash at about 7.45am on the A350 near Western Way, Melksham.
Recovery vehicles and police were called to the scene but heavy traffic jams backing up along the A361 to Semington were caused.
The occupants of the crashed car are not thought to have been injured.
