EACH year the West Wiltshire crematorium at Semington participates in a metal recycling scheme in aid of raising money for local charities and organisations.
As part of the Westerleigh Group, once the scheme has been completed, each crematorium is sent the funds made and this year the team at Semington decided that Dorothy House Hospice would receive the bulk of their funds in recognition of all they do for the community.
Crematorium manager Richard Green said: "I have heard amazing things of the service they provide and how helpful the staff are. The rest of the money available is going to soon be delivered to the Winston’s Wish charity, who provide a service for bereaved children."
