MELKSHAM cheeky chappy Graham Griffiths will be gracing TV screens for the next few weeks after making his debut on the latest series of reality TV show Ex on the Beach on tonight.

The 27-year-old barber, who runs Griff’s in the town centre, is one of eight singletons looking for romance on the MTV show filmed in Mexico.

However to shake things up, former partners of the contestants will emerge from the ocean to either rekindle their love or seek revenge during their stay at the villa.

Mr Griffiths, who recently moved to Staverton in Trowbridge, says he has dated a string of glamour girls but the former George Ward School student, who has more than 100 tattoos, admits after always going for the wrong type he is now searching for a fellow tattooed beauty.

The hairdresser is no stranger to the limelight; he previously did a ‘kiss and tell’ in The Sun, which described him as a ‘hunky holiday romeo’, after he allegedly had a three-night stand in Ayia Napa with Natasha Giggs, the sister-in-law of footballer Ryan Giggs, although she strongly denied the claims.

On the show, he will be joining a handful of tabloid favourites, including former The Only Way is Essex cast member Kirk Norcross and Geordie Shore’s Vicky Pattison who has appeared on the last two series.

Speaking about why he decided to apply to be on the programme, he joked: “Basically because it seemed like a nice holiday and I thought why not?”

The self-confessed lothario claims to have attended the University of Pulling Birds and is known around Melksham for his perfectly coiffed head of curls which he regularly gets permed.

He also used to play for AFC Melksham and says friends and customers are looking forward to see his antics on TV.

“They think it’s quite funny, they can’t wait to watch it,” he said. "They [family] are pretty much the same... they know what I’m like, so they can’t be shocked, they are used to it.”

When asked if he was nervous or excited to see the programme air, he added: “I’m a bit of both. I’m quite excited I didn’t do too much to embarrass myself but I’m nervous of people’s opinion. But if they love me they love me and if they hate me they hate me.”

The first episode of the show is tonight at 10pm on MTV.
