Southern Electric Power Distribution lost power
A THOUSAND properties in Melksham and Seend were left without power for almost two hours this morning (Jan 14).
The power went down at 7.55am but was back on by 9.30am with all but 63 homes having their electricity restored.
Southern Electric Power Distribution blamed the loss of power on a fault with a transformer and hope to have the problem fully resolved by 1pm.
