ANOTHER threatening message has been left on the door to a property of a couple which has prompted them to fear for their safety.

Andy Wicks contacted the police after he noticed ‘RIP’ had been written on the front door to his flat which he shares with his partner, Katrina Marchant, on Sunday evening.

The incident came just a week after the couple found the word ‘die’ scrawled on the back door of their building.

Mr Wicks, 34, who is currently unemployed, said: “We really want the police to do something about it because I’m worried about my partner’s safety, she’s petrified and is scared to be in the flat on her own.

“We’re not happy with the way Wiltshire Police have responded to the incident, they don’t seem to be taking it seriously enough and aren’t sticking to their promises.

“We wanted them to come over as soon as it happened but they said they weren’t able to until the morning.”

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We are currently investigating a number of incidents at an address in Gloucester Square in which a woman aged in her thirties reports that threatening words have been painted outside her address.

“The local Community Policing Team are carrying out enquiries into these incidents which we believe are linked, and have visited the victim for further discussion, support and advice.

“House to house enquiries have also been carried out in the vicinity and officers will be increasing patrols within the area.

“We would ask anyone who has witnessed any suspicious behaviour in the area to contact police on 101.”
