THE Melksham office of Old Mill Accountants has raised £5,000 for Wiltshire Air Ambulance, its chosen charity of the year.

The company in Challymead held its Autumn Dinner Dance at Bowood House on October 15, filling the ballroom with more than 100 people.

The guests enjoyed a three-course dinner as well as an auction, a raffle and a live performance by local band The Shadow Monkeys.

Financial planner Andrew Tubb said: “Each year the Melksham office chooses a charity and we then hold events throughout the year to raise money for that charity.

"This year, we chose Wiltshire Air Ambulance because it is such a fantastic local charity and many people at Old Mill know someone who has benefited from its vital service.

“Old Mill would like to thank everyone who supported the event. We were able to raise in excess of £5,000 which will help ensure Wiltshire Air Ambulance is able to continue to assist those in need of urgent care.”
