A NEW branch of the hardware store Toolstation has just opened its doors to the people of Melksham, providing job opportunities for the local community.

The new store, based in Indus Acre, Avro Way, Bowerhill, was added to the network of over 250 branches of the hardware shop’s network. Opening seven days a week, the shop has offered six new job opportunities for some of the locals.

Branch manager Liam Day said: “It’s great to open our new branch in Melksham and to introduce ourselves to the trade locally. As holders of the Which? Retailer of the Year Award 2016, our customers recognise that we go the furthest to help them.

“The team here really does pride itself on making it quick and easy for our customers to get their trade supplies by calling in our using our click and collect service. We are looking forward to lending a hand to the tradespeople nearby, offering the best products for the jobs they have.”

As one of the fastest growing suppliers of builders, plumbers, electricians and painters- Toolstation is welcoming trade from everyone in the local area. As well as regular store hours, the shop also offers a click and collect service and a delivery service for anyone wishing to shop from the comfort of their own home.

The new store will be open seven days a week, from 7am-7pm on Mondays to Saturdays and 9am-4pm on Sundays.
