THE A361 between Devizes and Trowbridge is closed for accident investigation work after a serious crash.
The collision, involving two vehicles, happened just after 4pm this afternoon on The Strand, between Seend and Semington.
Police say the road is closed in both directions between the Seend Fork (A365 junction) and the Semington roundabout (A350) and drivers are asked to avoid the area.
The road is likely to remain closed for several hours.
Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to call Wiltshire Police on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
