A GRATEFUL mum has thanked firefighters who rushed to the rescue after her toddler was accidentally locked in a car on Saturday morning.
The two year old girl was released from the car on Beanacre Road just after 10.20am. Her frantic mother called for help after the car's central locking system malfunctioned, leaving her daughter and the car keys in the vehicle.
"Luckily my little girl wasn't upset, she wasn't even crying, but I was frantic," she said. "I'd like to thank the firefighters for getting her out so quickly, they were marvellous."
