THE Melksham Food and River Festival is underway with a vast array of fun-filled activities to choose from.
The River Avon is playing host to a multitude of water activities, such as boat ries, canoeing, demonstrations, the raft race and boat flotilla.
River Avon will play host to an array of fun water activities including boat rides, canoeing, various demonstrations and on Saturday afternoon, 2nd September, the famous raft race and boat flotilla.
Attendees can also enjoy zip wire runs over the river, followed by hearty grub such as steamed puddings, roast potatoes, seafood, Box Steam beers and cooking displays.
It is on all day today and tomorrow and parking is free in the town.
The main food and drinks day will be on Sunday, showcasing local producers, as well as providing free entertainment with local bands, over 70 stalls featuring food, drink and local organisations, and attractions including fairground rides and face painting.
