A MOTORCYCLIST in his mid-20s was taken to hospital with suspected spinal back injuries following an accident on Monday evening.
Police said the biker was taken to the Royal United Hospital after being in collision with a white BMW at around 5.45pm on the A302 between Melksham and Calne.
His injuries are not considered to be life threatening. The driver of the BMW was a male in his 30s and he was uninjured.
The A3102 was closed for four hours while police conducted their accident investigations and the vehicles were recovered from the scene.
Any witnesses who have not already spoken to police are asked to come forward.
