BROUGHTON Gifford pre-school group at is gearing up for an open day to encourage local parents to view its facilities.
The Broughton Gifford pre-school is staging the open day tomorrow (Saturday, May 12) from 11am to 3pm to raise awareness.
Secretary Torie Riley said: “We are encouraging parents to come along and see what we do.
“We want them to celebrate our new equipment and see the facilities on offer.”
The event will include a Gruffalo trail through nearby woodland, with prizes for the children who take part.
Activities on offer include painting on a huge piece of wallpaper, play on the new equipment, and teas and other refreshments for the adults and children.
The pre-school group meets from 8.45am to 3.15pm, Monday to Friday, during term time only.
The group has 21 children, aged two to five years, and was given a Good rating by Ofsted, the education sector regulator, last year.
