A SUPPLIER of environmentally friendly packaging to the food industry is the latest company to move into the Ashville Centre, an eight-acre development in Melksham.
Greenearth Food Packaging Company supplies supermarkets including Waitrose, M&S, Sainsbury's and Tesco.
Commenting on the move, Julian Ellison, founder of Greenearth, said: "We needed to find a strategic location close to the motorway networks which would offer us easy access to our distribution chain.
We looked at other premises in Trowbridge and Melksham but these were older, industrial units without the excellent communication links and modern, flexible space that Ashville Centre offers."
Gareth Edwards, development surveyor at Ashville, added: "We are seeing strong demand in these units, with four currently under offer and a number of enquiries for the remaining units."
