Students at Shaw School have been learning abut neuroscience from a visiting professor.
Dolphin class enjoyed a talk and brain-based activities with Professor David Turk from the University of Aberdeen. He was on his way through the area, where he grew up, for a holiday on the south coast and was visiting his nephew, Year 3 pupil Luke Ansell.
Headteacher Dave Borrie said: βHe was a great guy. He was talking about the brain and the kids were fascinated to learn about the different bits.β
