Family activities at North Bradley Memorial Hall will raise funds for a new cancer treatment unit tomorrow.

The Forever Friends Appeal event, from 10.30am to 4pm, will support plans at Royal United Hospital, Bath.

Attractions will include craft stalls, games, face painting and a bouncy castle.

Zoe Tainton, the appeal’s community fundraiser, said: “This will be a fantastic fun-filled event for all the family. We are grateful for all the support we receive.”

The appeal aims to raise at least £5m towards the estimated £20m cost of project, with organisers hoping to be able to open the new facility in 2017.
