Woman, 28, denies Trowbridge house arson
4:26pm Monday 23rd September 2013 in Trowbridge
A woman accused of starting a blaze at a house which caused £76,000 worth of damage is to face trial by judge and jury.
Cheri Lepage pleaded not guilty to arson at the two-bed semi in Millhand Villas, Trowbridge, on Saturday March 23.
And the 28-year-old also denied a second charge of arson on the same day relating to household and electrical goods belonging to Anna Daly.
Lepage, of Wheat Close, West Ashton, pleaded not guilty to both allegations when she appeared at Swindon Crown Court on Friday.
It is alleged that she had been involved in an argument with Miss Daly in a pub earlier in the evening before the fire took place.
Recorder Michael Bowes QC adjourned the case to Monday, December 16 and released Lepage on conditional bail until then.
