A 49-year-old Trowbridge man faces trial by judge and jury after denying raping a young girl.
Kevin Poole pleaded not guilty to four counts of rape of a child aged under 13 when he appeared at Swindon Crown Court today.
Poole, of Ramsbury Walk, Trowbridge, is alleged to have committed the offences between November 2002 and November 2005.
Judge Douglas Field adjourned the case and bailed Poole on various conditions.
