The Clarendon Academy is once again extremely pleased with the performance of its Year 11 GCSE students.
Principal Mark Stenton said: “We are delighted to report improving GCSE results in line with the excellent progress the academy is making.
"More students are obtaining the top standard of at least five good grades including English and mathematics.
"Students and staff have worked exceptionally hard and I am particularly pleased with best ever results in maths.
"Two-thirds of students obtained a high grade in maths which is absolutely stunning.
"These very positive results follow June’s wonderful OFSTED report and last week’s good 6th Form performance.
"The academy will continue to go from strength to strength in 2014-15.”
