A man accused of breaching a sexual offences prevention order on three occasions has been remanded in custody by a judge.
Stephen Charles, 53, had been due to appear at Swindon Crown Court on Friday by video link from HMP Bullingdon, near Bicester.
But staff at the jail failed to produce him before the camera, meaning Recorder Ian Lawrie QC had to hear the case in his absence.
Charles, of Sherman Street, Trowbridge, is said to have failed to comply with the conditions of the order twice in September 2012 and once in March last year.
The judge adjourned the case to Friday, November 14, and remanded him in custody, unless a place at a bail hostel can be found for him.
