Police plea on former pupils

POLICE are trying to trace two women called Sam and Carla who attended George Ward School, Melksham, between 1980 and 1986.
Dc Val Ashby, of Trowbridge CID is investigating a complaint made by a female with the first name Wendy, who also attended the school, and believe the two women may remember her and have valuable information which will aid the investigation.
The women would now be about 38 years of age.
The investigation does not involve the school and the two women are potential witnesses and are not suspected of any offence.
