MORE than 20 sponsors have already signed up to support this summer's West Wilts Show, providing both expertise and cash.
The show, which is being held in Trowbridge Park on July 26-28, has Tesco as its principal sponsor and the Wiltshire Times as the main sponsor.
The show, which is an initiative of the West Wiltshire Economic Partnership, has also received significant financial support from West Wiltshire District Council.
Mike Williams, chairman of the show steering committee, thanked everyone who had already offered either cash support or services. "Without these businesses showing faith in the Show, we would not be able to succeed. We are extremely grateful to them for their backing."
The official charities for the West Wilts Show 2007 have also been confirmed - they are West Wiltshire Citizens' Advice Bureau, the West Wiltshire Link Scheme and Alzheimer's Support.
Mr Williams added: "We have already sold well over 100 stands to a diverse range of organisations, from local charities and community groups to crafters and commercial traders. New for this year is a Market Green area, reserved for local food producers who are interested in selling at the show."
