The A350 was closed at Yarnbrook, near Trowbridge, after a head-on crash between two vehicles earlier today.
Police said the A350 was reopened at about 2pm.
An elderly man, who was driving a Peugeot car, was being treated for shock while the woman driver of a Honda Civic is thought to have also escaped serious injury.
Traffic queues built up in the area for a time.
