Mayor of Trowbridge Glyn Bridges delighted members when he dropped in to the new Mill Street day club.
Cllr Bridges joined in some of the activities and praised the relaxed atmosphere at the club which is run by Alzheimer’s Support and is open four days a week.
He said: “It was such a pleasure to visit this new day club and meet the staff and some of the members. It was very well organised and professionally run and I feel sure that it will be a great asset to the community.”
Club manager Grant Newton said: “We try to get as much community involvement as possible in the club and it was great to have the Mayor drop in to meet some of the members.”
