Wiltshire College's Trowbridge campus throws open its doors to the public for an open morning on Saturday.

Visitors to the event, from 10am to noon, will be able to have a go at a number of activities, with a driving simulator in the Computing and IT lab and the Performing Arts department staging an impromptu performance throughout the morning.

The Art, Design and Fashion team will be offering people the chance to have a go on their creative canvas, and also have a go at their own photogram, while visitors can also take part in nail painting and massage with the Beauty Therapy team and learn how to plait and twist hair like a professional courtesy of the Hairdressing department.

You can also ice and decorate buns with the Catering & Professional Cookery team and have a go at bricklaying in the all-new Construction Skills Centre.

Visitors will also be able to find out about the range of apprenticeships on offer through Wiltshire College, and how to apply.

Potential students can find out more about life at the Trowbridge campus, including the activities, sports and trips on offer, with tutors and students also available to discuss the variety of courses, and staff on hand to provide information on finance, applications and the range of support available.
