Police are appealing for information following an attempted burglary on the industrial estate close to the Hilperton Relief Road in Trowbridge.
The incident took place between 4.30pm last Friday and 12.30pm on Sunday on the building site for the Hilperton Relief Road.
Offenders gained access to the building site and used a dumper truck to assist in opening a large metal container.
The container was already empty though, after the contents were moved by construction workers following the theft of a large amount of diesel from an engine on the site three weeks ago.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who saw any suspicious activity around the building site last weekend.
