The festive season is in full swing at Palmer Gardens in Trowbridge, which has been transformed into a winter wonderland for Christmas.
Crowds visited the gardens to watch the annual festive lights switch-on, which featured children’s entertainment, a visit from Santa and a sing-a-long led by the Melksham Music and Drama group. Visitors were treated to mulled wine and mince pies.
Mayor Glyn Bridges said: “Having served the people of Trowbridge for so many years, Palmer Gardens has become an important part of communal life in the area.
“The centre’s annual Christmas lights switch-on is fast becoming a well-loved tradition.”
Palmer Gardens, which is run by the charity Shaw Trust, helps disabled and disadvantaged people from Trowbridge to improve their skills, gain qualifications and find work.
