Trickster fools Melksham store staff
A conman made off with more than £126 after persuading staff at Sainsbury’s, Melksham, to give him a refund on Sunday.
The man picked up a three-piece saucepan set and iron he had not paid for, and took it to the store’s customer services desk.
He told them he wanted a refund and spoke to several members of staff before being given the cash.
