A family has had to leave its home in Trowbridge today following a fire in the roof space.
Two fire crews from the town attended the emergency in Carders Corner and were reinforced by a crew from Westbury and a turntable from Bath after the first alert at 4.15pm.
Firefighters stripped the tiles from the roof in order to contain the blaze but the house was rendered uninhabitable.
