WILTSHIRE College is hosting the county’s largest Higher Education Fair for the fifth year running at the Trowbridge campus next Tuesday from 9.30am-1.30pm.

The UCAS style convention will offer more than 1,100 sixth formers from six local schools and Wiltshire College BTEC Extended Diploma students the chance to find out more information about the options available to them after completing further education.

A total of 44 universities from as far afield as Aberdeen, Plymouth, Nottingham and Aberystwyth, are attending the event and the Army, Royal Navy, Marines and Royal Air Force graduate entry teams will guide students through their selection methods for officer entry.

During the HE convention, students can talk to universities and higher education institutions about all the courses available, while the Wiltshire College stand will also provide information on more than 20 university level courses offered at its four campuses.

Experts on volunteering and gap year opportunities will also help students understand what is involved with taking a year out, as well as the benefits of spending a year in industry.

It is a free event and open to the public. Anyone attending must sign in at reception. Campus car parking is only available to college staff and students.
