Make no bones about it the latest addition to The Old Sweet Works’ collection of antiques and curios is making heads turn.
Owner Mike Lojko has bought a medical skeleton and sat it pride of place outside his shop in Church Street, Trowbridge.
He said: “It’s creating loads of interest as people are stopping to take a look.
“I remember times at school, when the biggest attraction in the biology lab was the human skeleton.
“I have sat it in the best chair outside the shop and I am now asked if it has a name so I am open to suggestions.
“I am told its quite a rare acquisition as these are much sought-after for schools and colleges. I am told that Lord Sugar was trying to find one quite recently.”
The adult human skeletons are popular for medical education and used demonstration purposes in hospitals and healthcare professional offices.
They are made of a synthetic plastic.
