THERE was plenty of glitz and glamour about Clarendon Academy’s Year 11 Prom at Cumberwell Park Golf Club this year, as pupils donned their glittering gowns and stylish suits for the occasion.

Students dressed to impress at the Bradford on Avon venue, while many also made their mark with a memorable arrival, with limos, sports cars and a motocross bike among the chosen vehicles.

Andy Ridyard, assistant Head of Sixth Form and prom organiser, said: “We had a tremendous turnout for the 2015 Clarendon Academy Year 11 Prom.

“They were greeted once more by some lovely dry weather at Cumberwell Park, bringing out beaming smiles and splendidly dressed students.

“This superb year group were once again delivered in their cavalcade of limos and sports cars and one very loud motocross motorbike, to be photographed by groups of their proud, and also beaming, parents.

“On our ‘Oscars’ themed Prom night they didn’t need a red carpet to shine in brilliance, they just did it naturally. Congratulations ‘Class of 2015’, you made it through, and made it a wonderful night.”
