A MAGNA Carta Business Expo organised by Trowbridge Chamber of Commerce, Trowbridge Town Team and the town council opened its doors to the public today at Trowbridge Civic Centre.
The 2015 Business Expo, which is being held in conjunction with the Medieval Play Day in the Town Park, is aimed at showcasing the range of businesses that are active across the county, providing local firms with the opportunity to promote their companies and network.
Sponsored by apetito, Hitachi Commercial Vehicle Solutions, Office Evolution and media partner Newsquest, the two-day Business Expo includes over forty different local companies.
Amongst the stands in the Main Hall various operational elements will be providing advice and knowledge covering marketing, sales, security, finance, IT, legal, HR and recruitment, corporate social responsibility and learning development.
Guest speakers will include Jordan Daykin, who successfully pitched in the BBC's Dragons’ Den, Alison Edgar, of Sales Coaching Solutions, CEO of apetito UK and Canada Paul Freeston and Robert Craven, author and founder of the Director Centre.
Visiting the Business Expo, or booking a seat in any of the talks, is completely free.
The event was opened by the Mayor of Trowbridge, Jon Lawes of Hitachi Commercial Vehicle Solutions and Emma Roberts, president of Trowbridge Chamber of Commerce.
