POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 17-year-old boy was assaulted in Trowbridge last month.
The incident happened on Corbin Road around 5pm on Tuesday, September 8 after an altercation took between the teenager and a man in his late 20s.
The man has been described as Turkish or Moroccan in appearance.
He was wearing black framed glasses, a baggy dark shirt, a light coloured tie and was carrying a dark coloured courier style bag.
Both parties had previously been in Budgens in nearby Hackett Place.
PC Gemma Lumley from Wiltshire Police said: "If you were in or around Budgens or Corbin Road on this date and at this time and saw anything suspicious, or noticed a man matching the description, please call me on 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
