A 25-YEAR-OLD man was taken to hospital with suspected whiplash following a two car crash outside Trowbridge Fire Station on Sunday.
The collision, between a black Peugeot and white Suzuki Swift, happened just after 3pm on Hilperton Road.
The driver of the black Peugeot had to be freed from the wreckage by the Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service and was taken to Bath’s RUH as a precaution.
The driver of the Suzuki suffered minor bruising and did not require medical assistance.
Investigations are under way as to how the crash happened but Trowbridge Fire Station tweeted: 'This is why we don't want vehicles doing U-turns on our forecourt. It's hard enough us getting out with Blue & Twos.
Unfortunately someone has been hurt. The bend this Fire Station is on obscures the view of oncoming traffic making exiting very dangerous.
