A GROUP of us were lucky enough to be invited to Nando's to try the new healthy-eating offers from the renowned chicken restaurant.

As of Tuesday (May 17) Nando's in St Stephens Place can now offer diners their new Fino Platter, focusing heavily on offering the healthy alternative to the menu.

We were seated at our table by our friendly waitress Tracey who talked us through the sharing board that was placed in front of us. Apart from the flame-grilled chicken we were also given a variety of different tastes which included sweet potato wedges, Fino Coleslaw, the new Supergrain side, chargrilled vegetables and some Peri-buttered corn.

Each part of the platter was well-presented and tasted fantastic, the Supergrain side which was packed with quinoa, cannellini beans, kale and freekah and was really a refreshing change from what a number of restaurants have on offer.

The new Fino Platter, which costs £23.95 for two people, is a perfect dinner for those who want to enjoy a wide range of flavours without worrying about the calorie intake. Needless to say, finding a healthy dinner option won't ruffle any feathers.
