A SECOND man involved in a violent incident outside a town centre hairdresser has pleaded guilty to affray.

Winston Burke, 51, pleaded guilty to the public order offence before a jury could be sworn in on the first day of his trial at Swindon Crown Court.

A third man, Jason Prior, 31, admitted possessing an offensive weapon following the incident in Trowbridge in February last year.

Fabian Thomas, 25, has already admitted the affray and possessing a meat clever during the incident outside the Faded Hair Salon in Church Street.

Thomas, of Sangster Avenue, Melksham, Prior, formerly of Lotmead, Staverton, but now of Larkhill, Bath, and Burke, of Duke Street, Trowbridge, have been bailed to appear on June 17 so pre-sentence reports can be prepared.
