A NUMBER of vehicles parked at Trowbridge Police Station were damaged back in April with officers now appealing for information.

It is understood over 10 vehicles have been targeted to date with the tyres of a number of police and personal cars damaged.

Detective Sergeant Andy Morley, of Central CID, said: “These incidents are of great concern and could disrupt the operational effectiveness of police activities in the area. The consequences of damage to an emergency or private vehicle's tyres going unchecked could clearly be very serious.

“I would like to urge visitors to the police station to be vigilant when parking their vehicles and report anything suspicious immediately.

“We would like to hear from anyone who has information in respect of these crimes or has witnessed anybody acting suspiciously around the police station and car park to get in touch.”

Anyone with information should call police on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
