POLICE are looking into whether a car, which was destroyed by fire, was the result of an arson attack.
Fire crews were called to Drynham Lane just before 3am on Saturday morning after a silver Vauxhall Astra was set alight.
Firefighters used one hose reel jet and breathing apparatus to put out the fire but by which point the car had been completely destroyed.
It is understood that a car, with the same description, was stolen from a property in Harmony Place just hours earlier which police are investigating.
More to follow.
